    Description

    New Old Stock Sheet Metal Chassis Type III:
    NOS. this is an auction for just the chassis, no trucks or body. This type has one tab on each side and one at each end, typically used 1958-64 on 5 digit boxcars, reefers, a few cattle cars and action car (less any action part). Does use an eyelet to mount trucks, sintered iron or Pike Master. Can be modified to Type II by trimming side tabs and drilling the straight tab end to fit a screw for a body.  Please review the photos carefully.  I will be happy to answer questions, I just kindly ask that you inquire prior to your bid.  I do combine shipping.  Thank you!
